Initial concepts for a hardwood flooring company based out of metro Detroit, Michigan.
Inspired by the word "Imagine", I noticed that the textures in a hardwood plank, when limited to black and white, reminded me of a Rorschach (ink blot) test. These were historically used to psychologically assess the human mind. I felt this communicated both the imaginative & visionary ability of the company and the materials they use every day.
